Outstanding result from our Wine Makers Dinner

What a fantastic night we celebrated on Saturday 1 February at the Wine Makers Dinner. We’ve heard it to be ‘our best one yet’.

The night started with our drinks on arrival, thanks to Woodstock Wines and Zonte’s Footstep, which we’re all shipped up by Gilberts Transport Service. Our succulent three course meal provided by Mindil Beach Casino varied in dishes from seafood, duck, chicken and beef fillet.

We introduced our Wine Makers, Anna Fisher and Sophie Collett, quizzed them with a Q&A and played the all-time-favourite game head or tails.

Our live auctions, presented by Frank Schembri at United Realty NT, got heated as numbers were thrown out across the room. Our V8 race drive, suckling pig feast, signed cricket bats and mustang for a weekend from Hidden Valley Ford were all a huge hit with the crowd.

The night finished with live entrainment from our very own Chairman Geoff Cussen, where everyone danced the night away.

Thank you to our sponsors for their generous donations.

We are pleased to announce that $27,500 was raised from our Wine Makers Dinner, which will be going straight into helping the young and disadvantage in sport in the NT.

Most importantly, thank you to all the attendees. This couldn’t have happen without your support to our charity.
